This is a newly designed postcard Beth Gregerson designed for the original First Day of Issue (FDC) Sept. 10th, 2024 featuring the correct RILP postage rate for a postcard - .50. The stamp is a Perf. 12 from the new "Island Aviation Through the Decades" issue. The FDC's are flown off of the island by Griffing Flying Service then cancelled by Port Clinton Post Office with the spcial Ford Tri-Motor Pictorial Postmark. Only the perforated stamped postcard is available.
The RILP stamp featured is the,
.50 - Piper - Saratoga with the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse
And the USPS stamps are the William Piper Airmail stamp with the 16 cent special delivery/airmail stamp.

Blue RILP cancel =Perf 12 stamps.
Red RILP cancel = Imperf. stamps.
Also note, there is no room for the rectangle "First Day of Issue"(FDI) box on a 4" x 6" postcard, so some of the info was printed on the upper left of the back of the postcard.

This is a Rattlesnake Island Local Post - FDC postcard that was flown off of Rattlesnake Island to Port Clinton via Griffing Flying Service on the first day of new issue of the RILP stamps Sept. 10, 2024, then cancelled by Port Clinton Post Office with the spcial Ford Tri-Motor Pictorial Postmark at the Liberity Aviation Museum.
