Rattlesnake Island Local Post Catalog

Happy Holidays to all the Rattlesnake Island Local Post (RILP) collectors. RILP has officially started the RILP Catalog design process. The RILP Catalog will have several sections. The front section will contain catalog "RSI" numbers used in John Wells 2nd edition book. It will show pictures of each stamp and prices for singles, pairs, plate blocks of 6, sheets of 20, and prices for FDC's with 1 or 3 stamps. Possible pricing for private cachets and designer signed covers may be included. All of the errors, including color, perforations, and other types will be towards the back of the book in its own section.

There will be sections with prices for order forms, postcards, Christmas cards, and other items.

This catalog will be a standalone book and much of this information will not be duplicated in the new 3rd edition of John Wells book scheduled for 2026. Tentatively, the RILP Catalog will be released between March to June. Research on the errors will determine the release date as this is the most difficult section to achieve accurate information and pricing.

Therefore, I'm asking for the RILP collecting community's help. Please send ideas, info, scans, prices paid, and quantity information, especially on errors to the email address: rilp43452@gmail.com or mail to: RILP.ORG, PO Box 45, Gypsum, OH 43433.

I look forward to producing the first official RILP Catalog - 2025 compiled and written by the Rattlesnake Island Local Post.

May your holidays be joyful (and your stockings full of RILP stamps)

Dave Gill - RILP-PMG
